Agen secured a narrow 27-23 victory over Provence Rugby in a tense Pro D2 clash at Stade Armandie. Iban Etcheverry opened the scoring for the home side with a try in the seventh minute, quickly followed by a successful conversion from Craig Willis. Provence responded with Charly Gambini's try and Thomas Salles' conversion, leveling the score before Agen extended their lead with a penalty from Willis. The second half saw Santiago Socino score for Agen, with Willis converting again, but Provence fought back with a try from Arthur Coville and Salles' conversion. The match remained tight, but a late try from Louis Dupichot, also converted by Willis, ultimately sealed the win for Agen. Salles kept Provence in contention with multiple penalties, but it wasn't enough to clinch victory. The match showcased a fierce rivalry, with Agen gaining redemption after their earlier defeat to Provence earlier in the season.
