Valence Romans triumphed over Beziers Herault with a score of 8-0 in a dominant display at Stade Georges-Pompidou. The only try of the match came from Roziere in the 38th minute, giving the home side a crucial lead. Following the try, Beziers struggled to find their rhythm and were hampered by a yellow card issued to Fabregue just after halftime. Meret added a penalty in the 69th minute, solidifying Valence's advantage. Despite several substitutions, Beziers failed to breach the Romans' defense throughout the match. The conditions, with drizzle and low temperatures, likely affected both teams' ability to play fluid rugby. Ultimately, Valence Romans showcased their defensive prowess, keeping Beziers scoreless for the entire match.
