US Carcassonne triumphed over Dax with a score of 20-15 in a closely contested Pro D2 match. Baptiste Moreno opened the scoring for Carcassonne with an early try, quickly converted by Johnny McPhillips. Dax responded through Paul Ausset, who crossed the line to narrow the gap. McPhillips added further points with a penalty and another try from Maxime Gianet, increasing Carcassonne's lead. Despite Dax's Genesis Mamea Lemalu scoring a try before half-time, Carcassonne maintained a 13-10 advantage. In the second half, both teams struggled to convert opportunities, with Dax's Romuald Seguy adding a penalty late in the match. Ultimately, Carcassonne held on for victory, reversing their previous defeat to Dax in November.
