Stage: Regular Season Round 19

Stade Albert-Domec

Provence Rugby secured a narrow 23-19 victory over US Carcassonne at Stade Albert-Domec. Joris Cazenave opened the scoring with an early try, successfully converted, giving Provence a quick lead. Carcassonne responded with a try from Killian Taofifenua, followed by a conversion from Johnny McPhillips to level the score. The match saw both teams reduced to 14 players due to yellow cards, impacting the flow of the game. In the second half, Kapeli Pifeleti's try for Provence and a strong response from Carcassonne's Lopeti Timani kept the match tense. Late tries from Marius Iftimiciuc solidified the victory for Provence Rugby, despite Carcassonne's efforts to fight back. This win further established Provence Rugby's dominance over Carcassonne in their recent encounters.
