RC Vannes triumphed over Biarritz 40-33 in a closely contested Pro D2 match at Parc des Sports Aguilera. Vannes took an early lead with a try from Boulier, followed by a conversion from Debaes. Biarritz responded quickly, with Kibirige and Mignot both crossing the line to put them ahead. However, Vannes regained momentum with a try from Surano, and Bouthier's scoring prowess kept them in the game. The turning point came when Ruru received a red card for Vannes, yet they managed to secure a penalty try shortly after. Despite strong efforts from Biarritz, including a brace from Surano, Vannes held on to their lead. Edgar Retiere's contributions for Biarritz were notable, yet Vannes ultimately clinched the victory to continue their winning streak against Biarritz.
