Stade Albert-Domec

US Carcassonne secured a thrilling 42-31 victory against USON Nevers at Stade Albert-Domec. Marius Iftimiciuc opened the scoring with an early try, quickly followed by a conversion from Johnny McPhillips. Nevers responded with two tries from Lucas Blanc and Steven David, leveling the contest. However, Carcassonne's Lukas Doyhenard and Pablo Patilla soon added to their tally, with McPhillips consistently converting. Despite a late penalty try for Nevers, Carcassonne maintained control, highlighted by Patilla’s second try. The home team showcased their attacking prowess, with McPhillips finishing the game with a perfect kicking record. This result avenged their earlier defeat to Nevers in September.
