The Hurricanes secured a hard-fought 31-23 victory over the Western Force at McLean Park. After a tense first half, with the Force initially leading thanks to a penalty and a try from Lancaster, the Hurricanes responded with a try from Roigard, making it 10-8 at halftime. In the second half, the Hurricanes surged ahead with quick tries from Shields, Flanders, and Harkin, helped by Jordie Barrett's precise conversions. The Force fought back late with tries from Lancaster and Faifua, but they couldn't close the gap. Isaia Walker-Leawere received a yellow card, putting the Hurricanes under pressure, but they managed to hold on. Barrett's playmaking and kicking were instrumental in the Hurricanes' success. Ultimately, the home team's resilience and offensive execution proved decisive in maintaining their winning momentum in the Super Rugby competition.
