Stage: Regular Season Round 15

Hnry Stadium

The Hurricanes secured a commanding 45-28 victory over the Highlanders at Hnry Stadium. Josh Moorby opened the scoring with an early try, followed by a conversion from Ruben Love. The Highlanders faced a major setback when Daniel Lienert-Brown received a red card just minutes into the match. The Hurricanes capitalized on this advantage, with Love scoring two tries himself, contributing to a substantial first-half lead. Despite a late rally from the Highlanders, highlighted by a try from Lucas Casey, they couldn't close the gap. Ruben Love's performance was instrumental, not only scoring two tries but also converting seven times. The match concluded with the Hurricanes maintaining their dominance over the Highlanders, continuing a strong trend from previous encounters.
