HBF Park

The Western Force triumphed over the NSW Waratahs with a score of 31-25 in a thrilling Super Rugby clash at HBF Park. Ioane Moananu opened the scoring for the Waratahs with a try, converted by Jack Bowen, who also added two penalties shortly after. However, Dylan Pietsch's two tries for the Force, alongside a conversion from Ben Donaldson, kept the home team competitive. The Waratahs lost Joey Walton to a yellow card, which allowed Misinale Epenisa to score for the Force early in the second half. Carlo Tizzano's brace, with the second converted by Donaldson, appeared to solidify the Force's lead. Apolosi Ranawai's late try for the Waratahs brought them within striking distance, but time ran out. The win marked a significant victory for the Force, building on their recent strong performances against their rivals.
