The Crusaders delivered a dominant performance against the Blues, winning 52-31 at One NZ Stadium. The Blues started strong with an early try from Nock, quickly converting it through Sullivan. However, the Crusaders responded with four tries in the first half, showcasing their attacking prowess, especially from Kemara, who scored and converted twice. The turning point came when Blues' Wrampling-Alec received a red card, leaving the visitors a man down. McNicholl shone for the Crusaders, scoring three tries in total, further solidifying their lead. The Blues fought back with tries from Segner and Clarke, but it was not enough to close the gap. The Crusaders' relentless offense ensured a comprehensive victory, continuing their strong form in the Super Rugby competition.
