Union Bordeaux-B猫gles secured a decisive 39-24 victory over RC Toulon in the Top 14 clash at Groupama Stadium. Matthieu Jalibert opened the scoring with an early penalty, followed by tries from Nicolas Depoortere and Maxime Lamothe that showcased Bordeaux-B猫gles' attacking prowess. Toulon responded with Leicester Fainga'anuku scoring right before half-time, but Bordeaux-B猫gles maintained a commanding lead. In the second half, Jalibert continued to shine, converting another try from Damian Penaud and adding further points with his kicking. Despite Toulon's Setariki Tuicuvu and Beka Gigashvili scoring late tries, the home side's performance was too strong. Bordeaux-B猫gles' forward pack, including Lamothe and Depoortere, dominated the set pieces and breakdowns. This victory marked a strong comeback for Bordeaux-B猫gles after their previous defeat against Toulon in early June.
