Toyota Verblitz vs Yokohama head to head

Yokohama Canon Eagles secured a hard-fought victory over Toyota Verblitz with a final score of 20-14. Siosaia Fifita opened the scoring for Verblitz with a try in the 26th minute, followed by a successful conversion from Shinya Komura. However, Asahi Doei responded for the Eagles with penalties at crucial moments, keeping the pressure on the home side. In the second half, Randall Baker and Cormac Daly both crossed the line for the Eagles, with Doei's conversions proving pivotal. The match featured key substitutions, including Matt McGahan being replaced by Masato Furukawa for Verblitz and Asahi Doei making way for Kazufumi Yamasuga for the Eagles. Despite a late surge from Verblitz, they could not overcome the Eagles' lead. This match continued the competitive rivalry, with the Eagles reversing their previous loss to Verblitz earlier in the season.
