The Saitama Wild Knights secured a convincing 42-15 victory over the Yokohama Canon Eagles. Early momentum shifted in favor of the home team with Millar scoring a try in the fifth minute, converted by Yamasawa. The Eagles struggled, losing Harmon to a yellow card just before halftime, which led to a surge of scoring from the Knights after the break. Noguchi and Haangana both crossed the try line within a minute of each other shortly after halftime, showcasing the Knights' attacking prowess. Koroibete and Finau added to the scoreline, with Yamasawa converting multiple tries to maintain a perfect record on the day. The Eagles managed a late consolation try from Saumaki, but it was too little too late. Overall, the Wild Knights displayed dominance and maintained their strong form in the Japan League One D1.
