Tokyo Sungoliath vs Wild Knights head to head

In a thrilling contest at Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium, Saitama Wild Knights secured a hard-fought 26-19 victory over Tokyo Sungoliath. The home side struck first with a try from Matsushima, successfully converted by Trask, putting them ahead early. However, the Wild Knights responded strongly, with Koyama and Shimane both scoring tries before halftime, giving them a narrow lead. Trask's yellow card right after halftime proved costly for the Sungoliath, as Naramoto capitalized with a try for Saitama. The Wild Knights' Ozaki scored twice, solidifying their lead, while Naramoto's kicking kept the pressure on the home side. Despite a late effort from Sungoliath, they couldn't close the gap, falling short of a comeback. This victory continued the Wild Knights' dominance over Sungoliath in their recent encounters.
