Kobelco Kobe Steelers triumphed over Kubota Spears with a score of 22-13 in a closely contested match. Bernard Foley opened the scoring for the Spears with a penalty, but Seungsin Lee quickly responded for the Steelers. The turning point came when Keijiro Tamefusa scored a try for Kubota, which was converted by Foley, giving them an early lead. However, Inoke Burua's try for Kobe shifted momentum, and Lee's accurate kicking kept the scoreboard ticking. The Steelers maintained their advantage in the second half as Lee continued to add penalties to the tally. Despite the Spears' efforts, they couldn't capitalize on opportunities, and their late-game substitutions did not turn the tide. Ultimately, the Steelers' solid performance secured them another victory in the Japan League One D1.
