New Zealand delivered a commanding performance against Italy, winning 47-17 in the Nations Championship. Italy started strong with a try from Menoncello, taking an early lead of 7-0. However, New Zealand quickly responded with tries from Darry and Jordan, leveling the score and then taking the lead. The turning point came when Italy's Cannone received a red card, putting them at a disadvantage. New Zealand capitalized on this, with Jordan scoring two more tries and de Groot also adding to the tally. Italy managed a try from Marin, but it was not enough to counter New Zealand's onslaught. Ruben Love excelled with the boot, converting six tries to secure a comprehensive victory for the home side.
