New Zealand secured a convincing victory over South Africa with a score of 33-16. The match began with South Africa taking an early lead through a penalty by Kolbe. However, New Zealand quickly responded, with tries from Jordan and Moorby putting them ahead. South Africa briefly reclaimed the lead with Esterhuizen's try, but New Zealand's relentless attack saw them score three more tries in the second half, including a brace from Jordan. Kolbe's kicking kept South Africa in touch, but they struggled against New Zealand's strong performance. The Springboks received two yellow cards late in the match, hampering their chances of a comeback. Ultimately, New Zealand showcased their dominance and depth, leaving Ellis Park with a solid win.
