Munster responded quickly with tries from Tom Farrell and Eoghan Clarke, leveling the match momentarily. However, the Stormers regained control with a try from Marcel Theunissen, and Willemse continued his excellent form with multiple conversions and a penalty. Ruhan Nel added two more tries for the Stormers, showcasing his finishing ability. Munster's Gavin Coombes scored late in the game, but it was not enough to change the outcome.
