Northampton Saints secured a thrilling 71-48 victory over Bath Rugby at DPD Stadium. The match started with Bath taking an early lead, scoring two tries through Carr-Smith and Griffin, but the Saints quickly responded with tries from Sleightholme and Freeman. Bath regained the lead with a penalty and another try from Green, but it was a back-and-forth first half that ended 29-26 in Bath's favor. The second half saw a remarkable resurgence from the Saints, with Fin Smith orchestrating play effectively and contributing with multiple conversions. Sleightholme was particularly impressive, scoring two tries in quick succession to help Northampton pull ahead. Bath's efforts, including a try from Bayliss, were ultimately not enough to keep pace with the Saintsโ€™ scoring frenzy. The match highlighted Northampton's attacking prowess and resilience, as they scored a total of 11 tries to claim a decisive victory.
