Hive Stadium

Edinburgh Rugby secured a dominant victory over Benetton Rugby with a final score of 47-33 at Hive Stadium. Duhan van der Merwe opened the scoring with an early try, quickly followed by conversions from Ross Thompson. The home side continued to assert their dominance, with Magnus Bradbury scoring twice and Ben Muncaster adding another, helping Edinburgh to a commanding 28-7 lead by halftime. After the break, Paul Hill and Ali Price extended the lead further, despite Benetton's efforts led by Agustin Creevy and Paolo Odogwu, who both crossed the line. As the match progressed, Benetton rallied with tries from Alessandro Izekor and Malakai Fekitoa, but Edinburgh's consistent scoring kept them ahead. Thompson and later Ben Healy contributed with conversions, solidifying the home side's lead. The match concluded with Edinburgh's impressive attacking display overshadowing Benetton's resilience.
