Septeo Stadium

Montpellier Herault Rugby delivered an impressive performance against USA Perpignan, securing a decisive 50-13 victory. The home side started strong, with Dimitri Delibes scoring the first try in the 18th minute, followed swiftly by Christopher Tolofua's try just before halftime. After the break, Montpellier continued their dominance with tries from Lennox Anyanwu and Lyam Akrab, showcasing their attacking prowess. USA Perpignan managed to score through Luke McGrath, but it was a mere consolation amidst Montpellier's relentless assault. Stuart Hogg added conversions and contributed to the team's score, while Anyanwu's yellow card late in the game did little to stem Montpellier's tide. Overall, Montpellier's eight tries and strong defense overwhelmed Perpignan, who struggled to keep pace. This match further emphasized Montpellier's stronghold over Perpignan in recent encounters.
