Stade Georges-Pompidou

Valence Romans secured a convincing 39-22 victory over Soyaux Angouleme at Stade Georges-Pompidou. Soyaux Angouleme started strong with two early penalties from Botica, leading 6-0. However, Valence responded with two tries from Marco-Pena, followed by another try from Roziere, propelling them to a 15-9 lead by halftime. In the second half, Valence capitalized on Soyaux's yellow cards, with Meret scoring a try and conversion, extending their lead to 34-12. Although Soyaux managed to score a try through Decubber, it was not enough to close the gap. Valence's Idoumi added the final try, solidifying their dominance. Lucas Meret's exceptional performance, scoring a try and converting three, was instrumental in the win.
