Provence Rugby triumphed over Aurillac with a final score of 24-20 in a closely contested Pro D2 match. Aurillac started strong, with Tauiliili-Pelesasa scoring an early try, followed by Abzhandadze's conversion and a penalty, putting them ahead 10-0. Provence responded with Latterrade's try and Muntz's conversion, leveling the scores at 10-10 by halftime. In the second half, Aurillac regained the lead through Pieters' try, but Provence fought back with Pontanier and Yemsi crossing the line, both converted by Muntz. A late drop goal from Brune kept Aurillac's hopes alive, narrowing the deficit to just four points. The match featured intense moments, particularly with Jongejan's yellow card and subsequent impact on Aurillac's defense. Ultimately, Provence secured the victory, continuing their positive run against Aurillac in the Pro D2 competition.
