Stade Jean-Alric

Aurillac triumphed over Biarritz with a commanding score of 52-33 in an action-packed Pro D2 match. The home side opened strong, with Staniforth scoring the first try just a minute in, quickly followed by a conversion from Strachan. Biarritz fought back, with Dolhagaray's penalties and a try from Tapie closing the gap. However, Aurillac's Strachan showcased his skills with a try and multiple conversions, ensuring a solid lead at halftime. The second half saw Biarritz surge ahead briefly, with Sanderson's try and Dolhagaray's drop goal putting them in front. Despite this, Aurillac responded emphatically with further tries from Houston and Brune, sealing the match late with Loughnane's try. Strachan's flawless kicking performance contributed significantly to Aurillac's victory, solidifying their dominance at Stade Jean-Alric.
