Oyonnax delivered a commanding performance against RC Narbonne, finishing the match with a score of 57-14. Kevin Lebreton starred for Oyonnax, scoring two tries early in the match, supported by Luka Matkava, who contributed with a perfect kicking display. Narbonne managed to respond with tries from Daniel Jooste and Thomas Vernet, bringing some hope before halftime, but trailed 14-24. The second half saw Oyonnax capitalize on Narbonne's yellow cards, scoring multiple tries including efforts from Cyriac Guilly and Luka Matkava. Despite Narbonne's efforts, they could not contain the relentless Oyonnax attack, which ultimately added to their score with late tries from Koen Bloemen and Francois Joly. Matkava's performance was particularly notable, as he not only scored a try but also converted seven of Oyonnax's eight tries. The match underscored Oyonnax's strength in the Pro D2, while Narbonne faced a challenging road ahead.
