Loftus Versfeld

Bulls vs Leinster head to head

The Bulls edged out Leinster Rugby 21-20 in a thrilling encounter at Loftus Versfeld. Keagan Johannes opened the scoring with an early penalty, but Leinster responded quickly with a try from Jordie Barrett, converted by Ross Byrne. The Bulls struggled initially, with Alulutho Tshakweni receiving a yellow card, allowing Leinster to maintain pressure. However, a penalty try for the Bulls shifted momentum just after the hour mark. Johan Grobbelaar scored a crucial try to put the Bulls ahead. The match intensified with both teams exchanging penalties, but a late red card for Sebastian de Klerk added to the drama. Ultimately, the Bulls held on for a narrow victory as Leinster's last attempts fell short.
