Shayne Bolton extended Connacht's lead with another try before Zebre's Bautista Stavile responded with a score just before half-time, bringing the score to 14-7 at the break. In the second half, Shamus Hurley-Langton added Connacht's third try, which Hanrahan converted, pushing the lead to 21-7. Zebre's Jacopo Trulla managed to score in the 69th minute, but the home team struggled to close the gap.
