Stage: Regular Season Round 2

Twickenham Stoop

Harlequins secured a convincing 28-14 victory over Newcastle Falcons at Twickenham Stoop. The Falcons initially took the lead with a try from Hawkins, converted by Grayson. However, the home side responded rapidly, with Jibulu, Evans, Halfpenny, and Porter all crossing the line, showcasing Harlequins' attacking prowess. Marcus Smith was instrumental, converting all four tries and controlling the game effectively from fly half. The second half saw a yellow card for Falcons' Obatoyinbo, which further hindered their comeback efforts. Redshaw’s late try provided a glimmer of hope for Newcastle but ultimately fell short. Harlequins' dominant performance solidified their position in the league.
