Sale Sharks delivered a commanding performance against Racing 92, winning 29-7 at Salford City Stadium. The home side opened the scoring with a try from Jean-Luc du Preez in the 18th minute, quickly followed by Tom Roebuck’s try shortly after. Robert du Preez converted both tries, giving Sale a comfortable lead. Racing managed to respond with a try from Guram Gogichashvili, which was converted by Nolann Le Garrec, bringing the score to 19-7 at halftime. In the second half, Joe Carpenter extended Sale's lead with another try, again converted by Robert du Preez.
