Emirates Airline Park

The Lions secured a 33-23 victory against Section Paloise at Emirates Airline Park. The match opened with an early try from Jooste, giving the visitors a quick lead. However, the Lions responded emphatically with tries from van der Merwe, van den Berg, and Botha, with Wolhuter converting all three to put the home team ahead. Desperes managed to keep Section Paloise in contention with penalties and a try early in the second half, but the Lions' dominance continued. The introduction of a penalty try for the Lions further extended their lead, while Schoeman added another try to seal the win. Wolhuter's impressive kicking ensured a strong points tally. Despite a spirited effort from Paloise, the Lions' attacking prowess proved decisive in the end.
