Stage: Regular Season Round 6

GGL Stadium

Montpellier narrowly defeated RC Vannes 26-24 in a tightly contested match at GGL Stadium. Leo Coly opened the scoring for Montpellier with an early penalty before Wilfrid Hounkpatin scored a try, which Coly converted. Vannes responded quickly with a try from Inaki Ayarza, converted by Maxime Lafage, keeping the game close. Montpellier extended their lead through Mael Moustin's try, again converted by Coly, before Vannes capitalized on a penalty try due to Montpellier's yellow card issued to Madosh Tambwe. The second half saw Vannes push back with a try from Jules Le Bail, but Coly’s penalties kept Montpellier ahead. Late in the match, Vannes surged but fell just short, unable to reclaim the lead. Coly's kicking proved crucial for Montpellier, securing their hard-fought victory.
