Montpellier Herault Rugby triumphed over Castres Olympique with a final score of 36-33 in a thrilling Top 14 encounter. Auguste Cadot was instrumental for Montpellier, scoring two tries early in the match, with Domingo Miotti converting both and adding further points throughout the game. Castres responded strongly with three tries of their own, including a notable effort from Christian Ambadiang. The match saw a fierce contest, with both teams exchanging leads, highlighted by a try from Teddy Durand that momentarily put Castres ahead. However, Montpellier rallied back, scoring crucial tries, including one from Lois Guerois-Galisson late in the game.
