The match was a tightly contested affair at Parc y Scarlets, where Bristol Bears narrowly defeated Scarlets 17-16. Viliame Mata was instrumental for Bristol, scoring two early tries and contributing significantly to their lead. Scarlets responded well, with Gareth Davies crossing for a try and Sam Costelow adding crucial penalties. A yellow card for Mata in the first half allowed Scarlets to capitalize and narrow the gap. Despite strong performances from Costelow and Davies, the home team fell just short. Late in the game, Louis Rees-Zammit's try helped secure Bristol's victory. The match showcased excellent defensive plays and resilience from both sides, ultimately resulting in a thrilling finish.
