Montpellier Herault Rugby secured an 18-12 victory over Dragons RFC in the Challenge Cup. Thomas Vincent opened the scoring with a penalty in the ninth minute, followed by a try from Tyler Duguid, which Vincent converted to extend the lead. The Dragons responded with a try from Aneurin Owen, narrowing the gap to 10-5. In the second half, Vincent added another penalty before Alexis Bernadet scored Montpellier's second try, increasing their advantage to 18-5. Owen struck again for Dragons with his second try, and Angus O'Brien's conversion brought them closer at 18-12. Montpellier's Nika Abuladze received a yellow card during a tense period, but the home side held on to secure the win. This match continued Montpellier's recent dominance, having also defeated Dragons in their previous encounter.
