Union Bordeaux-B猫gles secured a thrilling 34-29 victory over Castres Olympique in a closely contested Top 14 match. Castres opened the scoring early with tries from Arata and Babillot, both converted by Le Brun, giving them a 14-0 lead. Bordeaux responded emphatically with four tries in the first half, including a standout performance from Jalibert, who also added a penalty. A try from Zarantonello narrowed the gap for Castres, before Chabouni's late effort kept the pressure on Bordeaux. The home team faced a tense final minutes, especially after Depoortere received a yellow card. Castres fought valiantly but ultimately fell short as Bordeaux's solid defense held firm. This victory further solidified Bordeaux鈥檚 position in the league, continuing their strong form against Castres.
