Ihaia West's accurate kicking saw Rochelais lead 21-10 at halftime after Tawera Kerr-Barlow added a third try just before the break. Bath responded after the interval with Tom Dunn's try, converted by Finn Russell, narrowing the gap. Guy Pepper then added another try for Bath, leveling the momentum in the second half. Despite Bath's efforts, a penalty from West in the 58th minute proved crucial for Rochelais. Ultimately, Bath's late charge fell short, and Stade Rochelais held on to clinch a hard-fought win.
