Stage: Pool 4 Round 1

Scotstoun Stadium

Glasgow Warriors secured a convincing 38-19 victory over Sale Sharks at Scotstoun Stadium. George Horne was the standout player, scoring two tries and converting all but one of Glasgow's scores before receiving a yellow card. The Warriors raced to an early lead with three tries within the first 12 minutes, showcasing their attacking prowess. Sale managed to respond with a penalty try and a score from Arron Reed, but they struggled to keep pace. Huw Jones and Scott Cummings added to Glasgow's tally, while Joe Carpenter's try offered little consolation for the Sharks. The second half saw Glasgow maintain control, with their defense holding firm despite a late yellow card for Angus Fraser. Overall, the Warriors' dominance in both set pieces and open play secured them an emphatic win.
