Kingspan Stadium

Union Bordeaux-Bègles secured a convincing 40-19 victory over Ulster Rugby at Kingspan Stadium. Tevita Tatafu opened the scoring with an early try, followed by a successful conversion from Joey Carbery. Ulster responded quickly with tries from Cormac Izuchukwu and Nick Timoney, both converted by Nathan Doak, taking a brief lead. However, Bordeaux's penalty try and multiple yellow cards for Ulster shifted momentum back to the visitors. In the second half, Bordeaux's Damian Penaud and Guido Petti both crossed the line, with Mateo Garcia adding crucial conversions. Ugo Boniface capped off the performance with a late try, solidifying the win. Despite Ulster's efforts, they struggled against Bordeaux's clinical finishing and strong defense.
