JD Schickerling opened the scoring with a try in the 21st minute, followed by a successful conversion from Manie Libbok. Libbok then scored a try himself shortly after, further extending the lead. Despite a yellow card for Frans Malherbe just before halftime, the Stormers maintained control. In the second half, Sti Sithole and Paul de Wet added to the tally with well-executed tries.
