Union Bordeaux-Bègles delivered a commanding performance against Exeter Chiefs, finishing the match with a staggering score of 69-17. Paul Brown-Bampoe scored early for the Chiefs, but Bordeaux quickly responded with tries from Lucu and Penaud, showcasing their attacking prowess. Matthieu Jalibert's precise kicking added to the away team's advantage, as he contributed multiple conversions throughout the match. The second half continued in a similar vein, with Bordeaux scoring five more tries, including a standout performance from Bielle-Biarrey. Exeter managed to add a second try via Brown-Bampoe, but it was a mere consolation. A red card for Taufa did little to disrupt Bordeaux's rhythm, as they finished with a flurry of points. This match highlighted Bordeaux's clinical finishing and dominance in the game, leaving Exeter with much to ponder.
