Stage: Pool 2 Round 3

Stade Marcel-Deflandre

Leinster Rugby narrowly defeated Stade Rochelais 16-14 in a tightly contested match. Antoine Hastoy opened the scoring with a penalty for Rochelais, but Leinster's Sam Prendergast quickly responded with one of his own. A crucial try from Joe McCarthy put Leinster ahead, which Prendergast converted to extend the lead. Rochelais fought back with a try from Dillyn Leyds in the second half, bringing the score to 14-13. Prendergast's penalty kicks in the second half were pivotal, adding vital points for Leinster. Despite a late push from Rochelais, Hastoy missed a drop goal attempt that could have changed the outcome. Ultimately, Leinster's disciplined defense secured their victory away from home.
