Stade Marcel Michelin

ASM Clermont Auvergne secured a thrilling 33-26 victory over Bristol Bears at Stade Marcel Michelin. Alex Newsome opened the scoring with a try in the 17th minute, followed by Alivereti Raka's brace before halftime, giving Clermont a solid lead. Bristol's Harry Byrne was temporarily sidelined with a yellow card, which hampered their early momentum. In the second half, Bristol fought back with a penalty try and efforts from James Dun and Noah Heward, showcasing their resilience. Clermont responded with a penalty try of their own and continued to apply pressure. Kieran Marmion's late try kept Bristol's hopes alive, but Thomas Ceyte's try sealed the home team's triumph. Anthony Belleau and Benjamin Urdapilleta's conversions proved crucial as Clermont held on for a narrow win.
