Castres Olympique delivered a commanding performance against Edinburgh Rugby, winning 33-0 at Stade Pierre Fabre. Christian Ambadiang opened the scoring with a try in the 12th minute, setting the tone for the match. Loris Zarantonello quickly followed with another try just after halftime, and Pierre Popelin's kicking was impeccable, converting all tries. Tyler Ardron and Vilimoni Botitu added to the scoreline with well-executed tries in the second half. Edinburgh struggled to gain momentum and found themselves down a player when Piers O'Conor received a yellow card. Despite multiple substitutions, Edinburgh could not find their rhythm or score any points. Castres' dominant forward pack and effective backline played a crucial role in securing their victory in this Champions Cup encounter.
