Union Bordeaux-Bègles secured a commanding 50-28 victory over Northampton Saints in the Champions Cup. Salesi Rayasi was instrumental, scoring three tries, while Martin Page-Relo contributed significantly with his kicking and a try of his own. The Saints struggled with indiscipline, receiving two yellow cards in the first half that allowed Bordeaux-Bègles to capitalize, leading 28-14 at halftime. In the second half, Bordeaux-Bègles continued their dominance with quick tries from Cameron Woki and Matthieu Jalibert. Northampton did manage to score a couple of tries through Henry Pollock and Danilo Fischetti, but it was not enough to mount a serious challenge. Bordeaux-Bègles' superior attacking play and set-piece execution were evident throughout the match. This result marked another successful outing for Bordeaux-Bègles against Northampton, having won their previous encounter as well.
